“GLOBE” - Graffiti Art Canvas

October 29th, 2005

Last year my brother asked me to do a for his apartment. This was the first real art style painting I had done in 6 years or so. And it was the first in this series of canvases I’ve done in the past year. I started this sometime in November 2004, and I finished it on Christmas Eve and gave it to him Christmas Day.

I chose to write “Fuel” because it is claimed the search for a better energy source will be one of the defining issues of this century.
Gasoline is currently the cheapest energy source, but its price will continue to rise. And our world and especially American culture is extremely dependant on it.

I wanted to add more meaning to my paintings, so this was an attempt at that.
    I didn’t know fuel.
